Robert “Rick” Frederick Weatherill of Poulsbo died Nov. 3, 2007 at his home. He was 67.
Weatherill was born to John and Hazel Weatherill in Shelton on Feb. 23, 1940.
He married Harlene Bledsoe on Dec. 16, 1961.
Weatherill graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1958.
He worked as the Poulsbo Police Department chief of police for 20 years, retiring in 1984. He went on to work at SWFPAC and retired in 1999.
Weatherill enjoyed fishing, woodcutting, gardening and helping others. He was also a member of the Franklin Lodge No. 5 in Port Gamble.
Weatherill is survived by his wife Harlene; his children Roben Lawrence of Poulsbo, Robert (Pamela) Weatherill Jr. of Poulsbo, Rodney Weatherill of Port Orchard and Ronney (Beth) Weatherill of Poulsbo; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He also leaves behind 13 children he and his wife helped through the years.
Services will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Nov. 11 at Kiana Lodge.
