Roberta Ruth Dorsey Sisley (nee Reitz), a resident of Poulsbo, passed away on May 14, 2017, at the age of 84.
Born on Jan. 21, 1933, in Weiser, Idaho, Roberta graduated from The Dalles High School in 1951 and earned her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Portland in 1955. As a Registered Nurse, she worked with Dr. Berthold Bruell in Federal Way for 17 years and later in other medical offices in South Seattle and Poulsbo. Her friendly smile was a ray of sunshine to all who met and knew her.
Roberta will be lovingly remembered by her children, DeeAnn Sisley (John Knox), Alan Sisley (Janet Cotter), Janet (Wayne) Ross, and Paul Sisley; her grandchildren, Peter Knox, Claire Knox, Katie Sisley, Aaron (Saree) Ross, Allison Ross, Tonya (John) Pendroy, Alicia (Josiah) Rowell, and Kimberley Sisley; and by her great grandchildren Lilly Pendroy, Lorelei Pendroy and Oliver Rowell. She is survived by her siblings Billie (Ed) True, Chet Reitz and Harry (Pam) Dorsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Sisley.
A Roberta and Darrel Sisley Memorial & Coffee Party will be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday, June 6 at the Sons of Norway, 18891 Front Street, Poulsbo.
