Ronald P. Komok, 58
Suquamish resident Ronald Pete Komok died July 20, 2005 in Seattle. He was 58.
He was born to Joe M. and Rachael (Nokeleasik) Komok in Nome, Alaska on March 21, 1947.
Komok married Claudette Cyrene George of Suquamish.
He was a fine artist/stone carver.
Komok enjoyed carving, playing guitar and the native culture and life.
A visitation was held July 25 and July 26 at The Stone Chapel. A funeral service was held at the Suquamish Tribal Center.
He was buried in the Suquamish Cemetery.
He was survived by his wife Claudette Tom; sons Ronald Pete Komok Jr. of Suquamish, Joseph Claude (Gina) Komok of Bainbridge Island and Stacy Stanley (Carrie) Callihoo of Kingston; daughter Marjorie Doreen Tom of Kent; brothers Joe Komok and Alfred Komok; sisters Christine Kanook and Ella Legg; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
