Former Bremerton resident Rose Lee Peper died Sept. 7, 2006, in Puyallup at the age of 36.
Mrs. Peper was born in Tacoma on March 4, 1970, to Adeline (Torkelson) and Glen Olmsted. A homemaker, she graduated from Bremerton High School in 1988. She married Michael Peper on June 1, 1991, in Bremerton. The couple lived in Spanaway.
Mrs. Peper enjoyed collecting Looney Tunes Tasmanian Devil items, reading, camping and spending time with her dog Heffer.
She is survived by her husband of the family home; brother Glen Olmsted Jr. of Gig Harbor; sisters Evelyn “Sue” Olmsted, Sandra (Ray Dawson) Olmsted and Samantha Smith, all of Gig Harbor; brothers-in-law Ken Peper and Wes (Amy) Peper, both of Bremerton; sisters-in-law Judy (Ed) Mains of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Ann Peper of Bremerton; nephews Nicholas Olmsted, Aaron Smith, P.J. Smith, Greg and Jeff Mains and Evan Peper; nieces Janell and Haley Peper; and friends Lilly and Ricky Rogers, Brookashley Pauly and Mateo Miller.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. today, Sept. 16, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1234 Riddell Road in Bremerton, followed by a reception. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
