BELFAIR — Sheena Rae Martin, 32, of Belfair, passed away on May 12 in Cairo, Egypt.
Sheena was born on Dec. 3, 1985, in Bremerton to Jari Rae Arin and Ronald Martin. She was a graduate of South Kitsap High School. At the time of her death, Sheena worked as the bakery manager at Safeway of Gig Harbor.
In her spare time, Sheena enjoyed traveling, camping and get-togethers with family and friends.
Sheena is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jim Martin and Maxine English. Sheena’s memory will live on with her parents, Jari Rae Arin and Ronald Martin (Linda Rosa); brother Andru Arin Martin (Brianna) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents Larry and Maxine Johnson; paternal grandmother Nita Martin; and other extended family members.
Sheena adored and spoiled her nieces Abby, Teagan and Kinsley. Her aunts and uncles were special in her life. She was blessed with dozens of cousins. Her dear best friend Kourtney Thomas played a major role in Sheena’s life, always there to support her since elementary school. Those girls — what a history. Her Safeway family also meant the world to her.
Sheena died unexpectedly while traveling to Cairo, Egypt. She was in the loving care of her life, Eslam Mostafa, and his mother and family while she was briefly sick. God then lovingly wrapped his arms around her and took her to heaven.
Interment will be private at Forest Lawn Cemetery. An online memorial can be seen at the Lewis Chapel website.
