Shirley J. Tero, Poulsbo, died May 14 of cancer at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was 79 years old.

She was born April 18, 1923 in Spokane to Clarence and Alma (Swansen) Harr.

She graduated from high school in Spokane.

On Dec. 14, 1947, she married Rudy “Tappy” Tero.

She was a clerk/typist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 34 years, retiring in 1972.

She enjoyed traveling and fishing.

She is survived by her husband Tappy, of the family home in Poulsbo.

At her request, no services will be held.

Inurnment will be at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo.

Memorial donations can be made to a favorite charity.

Arrangements are by the Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove, Poulsbo.
