Sirena Janae Kealii Holokahiki Yates, 7

Sirena Janae Kealii Holokahiki Yates of Poulsbo died Jan. 2, 2008. She was 7.

Yates was born to Timothy E. and Karen D. (Bartrand) Yates in Fredericksburg, Va. on Dec. 27, 2000.

She attended first grade at Poulsbo Elementary.

Yates enjoyed her pet parakeets Sugar and Kiwi, the family dog Maya, playing board and card games, playing hide and seek and riding her bicycle. She was a member of the North Kitsap Baptist Church Awana Club.

Yates is survived by her brothers Dane, Jacob and Luke of Poulsbo; parents Timothy and Karen Yates of Poulsbo; maternal grandmother Kealii Bartrand of Honolulu, Hawaii and paternal grandparents William and Nancy Yates of Poulsbo.

Arrangements are being handled by The Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary.

Public visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 12 at North Kitsap Baptist Church in Poulsbo. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. and interment will be at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo.
