Stacy Taylor of Bremerton died in her home Dec. 26, 2006, after a long illness. She was 49.

Mrs. Taylor was born Aug. 1, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to James and Jo (Vaughn) Lee. She graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1975.

In March 1977, she married Michael Taylor in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Mrs. Taylor worked as an office manager for several companies. She was known as an exceptional cook who enjoyed eating great food. She loved her family, including her dog, and spoiling her granddaughter. She always put her special touch on everyone she knew and everything she did and was the strongest woman her sons ever knew.

She is survived by her sons Jasen (DeVonne) Taylor and Erik Taylor, both of Bremerton; mother Jo Lee of Texas; brothers Jim (Denise) Lee of Chimacum, Dirk Lee of New Mexico and John Faila of Minnesota; sister Margaret of Fairbanks, Alaska; and granddaughter Maddelyn Taylor of Bremerton.

She was preceded in death by her father and husband.
