Steven J. Campagna, 47
Steven John Campagna of Poulsbo died June 23, 2005. He was 47.
He was born to Carmen and Theresa (Mezo) Campagna in Seattle on Jan. 14, 1958.
Campagna married Gail Christiansen on July 14, 1979.
He grew up in Mountlake Terrace and graduated from Woodway High School in Edmonds.
Campagna worked in the food service industry for 32 years, most recently as the food service director at Jefferson Hospital in Port Townsend.
He enjoyed outdoor activities and his family has fond memories of the many camping trips they spent together. He loved music, sports, and cooking and shared these loves with his three children.
He is survived by his wife Gail; sons Adam and Alex; daughter Kelsey; brothers David (Debbie) and Robert Campagna; sister Carolyn (Larry) LaFave; mother Theresa Campagna; father and mother-in-law Warren and Sandy Christiansen; brother-in-law Ray Christiansen; sister-in-law Linda (Scott) Jepsen; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Carmen Campagna and his sister Cathleen Smart.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. July 7th at the North Kitsap Auditorium, 1881 NE Hostmark St. in Poulsbo. Donations can be made in his name to a benevolent account for his children at any Washington Mutual Branch. An online memorial can be viewed at www.lewischapel.com.
