Susan E. Joncas, 51

Susan E. Joncas of Poulsbo died Nov. 7, 2004 in Bremerton. She was 51.

Joncas was born to Peter E. and Jeanne (Summerill) Joncas in Chicago, Ill. on Jan. 30, 1953.

She graduated from West Seattle High School in 1971 and then from Central Washington University in Ellensburg in 1975.

Joncas worked as a registered nurse and had most recently worked for Group Health in Poulsbo.

She adopted two girls from China and was active with the WACP, which works with adoptions in China. She loved gardening and camping.

Joncas is survived by her parents Peter E. and Jeanne (Summerill) Joncas of Poulsbo; daughters Laurel and Elizabeth of Poulsbo; brother Paul Joncas of Poulsbo; and sister Kathleen Joncas of Silverdale.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
