Terry Orin Eidsmoe died May 18 in Poulsbo. He was 63.

Eidsmoe was born to Orin Clayton and Marion Louisa (Bratton) Eidsmoe in Deer Park on June 2, 1939.

He married Kathleen Lucille Sylvester on Dec. 30, 1965 in Seattle.

Eidsmoe worked as a first mate for the Washington State Ferry Service for 28 years, retiring in 1996.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, gold mining and rock collecting.

Eidsmoe is survived by his wife Kathleen Eidsmoe of Poulsbo; sons Theodore (Stacy) Eidsmoe of Port Townsend and Clayton Eidsmoe of Poulsbo; daughters Christine Eidsmoe and Kelly Eidsmoe both of Bremerton; brothers Melvin (Nancy) Eidsmoe of Hadlock and Lewis (Dorothy) Eidsmoe of Enumclaw; sister Marcie Eidsmoe of Mossy Rock; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ralph.

A memorial service was held on May 23 at the Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo.
