Thera M. Thomson, 83

Thera Maurinne Thomson of Poulsbo died Nov. 12, 2004 in Poulsbo. She was 83.

Thomson was born to Ralph and Helen (Cook) Sherman in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Nov. 6, 1921.

She married George J. Thomson on June 27, 1944 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

She and her husband were married for 60 years before her death. The family is grateful to her caregiver of five years, Daphne Rollins of Bremerton.

Thomson is survived by her husband George J. Thomson of Poulsbo, son Bruce Thomson of Poulsbo and daughter Joanne Thomson of Poulsbo.

There will be a private, temporary interment at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo and a later service and burial at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore. Arrangements are under the direction of The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo.
