Thomas Robert Fullerton of Poulsbo died Aug. 16, 2003 in Bremerton. He was 70.
Fullerton was born to Dale and Ada Fullerton on June 25, 1933 at the Port Gamble Hospital. He was one of 12 brothers and sisters.
He was raised in Port Gamble and attended school at the Port Gamble School House.
At the time of his death, Fullerton was the second longest living resident of the Martha & Mary nursing facility. He was active in painting classes and bowling and was often seen putting together puzzles. Fullerton also volunteered his time as a mail carrier, delivering mail and newspapers to other residents. He was vice president of the Martha & Mary residents council.
He was a member of Vinland Lutheran Church.
Fullerton is survived by brothers Dale Fullerton of Poulsbo, Edwin Fullerton of Portland, Ore. and John Fullerton of Bremerton; sisters Ruth Brown of Eugene, Ore., Margaret Hewitt of Renton, Betty Owens of Livonia, Mo. and Mary Pocialik of Yorbalinda, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at noon Aug. 26 at Vinland Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Martha & Mary Nursing Home care of the resident green house or to Vinland Lutheran Church.
