Treva V. Kragen

Treva Viola Kragen died peacefully in Poulsbo, WA, on August 2nd, 2011. At 93 years old, she went happily to be with her Lord and Savior, Yeshua Mashiach, and those who have gone before her. “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand” (Psalm 16:11).

Treva leaves behind sons Geoffrey C. and his wife Janette, Lance P., and K. David and his wife Janet; granddaughter Colleen Beth and her husband Eric Christian von Foerster; and great-grandson Dante Shalom von Foerster.

Born in Elkhart, IN, she graduated from Elkhart High School in 1935 and lived in Elkhart until 1945. She traveled to San Francisco at the end of World War Two. She married Geoffrey Carroll Kragen on November 3rd, 1945 and lived in San Francisco, raising her three sons, until 1977 when she and Geoffrey moved to Santa Rosa. In 2000 they moved to Silverdale, WA. Her husband passed away in 2003.

Treva was buried on August 8th at Silverdale Cemetery, Silverdale, WA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13th, 2011 at 1:00pm at Olympic Evangelical Free Church, 14861 Silverdale Way, Poulsbo.
