Vernon Crosier of Bremerton died June 20, 2007, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was 83.
Mr. Crosier was born on March 20, 1924, in St. Edwards, Neb. to Ernest and Alice (Newman) Crosier. He moved with his family to Seabeck in 1936. He married Alice Ann Hoke on Feb. 22, 1951. They met on Sixth Street in front of Forget Me Not Florist when buying Mother’s Day flowers for his mom 56 years ago.
Mr. Crosier was a renowned and well-respected used car dealer in Bremerton where he owned and operated C & C Auto Sales for 25 years. He then bought cars wholesale for Kluge Chevrolet for five years, then independently until 2000. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife Alice (Hoke) Crosier of Bremerton; sons Kevin of Bremerton, Barrie (Carrie) of Silverdale and Kirk of Bremerton; brother Frank of Seabeck; grandsons Jeffrey (Amy), Jeremy and Jason, all of Port Orchard; great-grandson Braydon of Port Orchard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
