I do not know if the recent election was rigged or not. However, the two big political parties have stacked the deck to give a third party little chance of winning anything.
Was the election legal? The idea of the Electoral College may have been good back when the Constitution was written.
Electors were selected by the people of each state. How many people voting in the recent election had any idea who the electors might be? I doubt that I am the only one who did not know.
Since the electors are not bound by any loyalty to the will of the voters, maybe it is time to do away with the Electoral College. Then we will not have the losing candidate whining about getting the majority of the votes but not winning the office.
