disappointing

I have been receiving fliers from mayoral candidate Patty Lent. I am very disappointed in her. She is using smear tactics against her opponent. Her first flier’s statements, when asked by an interviewer to prove them, she couldn’t.

They were not true. The second flier had a quote from Will Maupin that was taken out of context. It was not relating to the mayor’s salary, as implied, but to a statement made by another city council member. Deceptive.

The last flier I received had several names of people supporting her.

They were repeated all the way down the back of the page, making it appear there were many more people supporting her. Very deceptive. I thought she was a better person than to play “dirty politics.” I am very disappointed in her.
