Senior Teotilo Aguilo will represent the South Kitsap Wolves at the Boeing Employees Tennis Center Nov. 1 after qualifying for districts in the South Puget Sound League tournaments.
Aguilo entered the tournament as a seventh seed and went 4-1 in his stretch of matches against league competitors, including a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Ethan Yang from Curtis to secure a fourth-place finish in the singles bracket.
Senior Tanner Rockafield saw his season come to an end just one win shy of a district berth. After defeating Ian Kendall of Puyallup 6-3, 6-1, he was bested by Gavin Orozco of Bonney Lake and Jackson Zamira of Curtis to finish 1-2 in tourney play. Doubles duo Karter Warner and Finn Byrne also competed but fell short of advancing.
