ANACORTES — The North Kitsap Americans baseball team was eliminated after three games at State.

The team, part of the American Legion league, defeated Asotin but lost to North Thurston in the consolation bracket.

The Americans started the series with a 2-0 loss to Bellingham. Continuing on, the Americans defeated Asotin 5-1 before losing to Thurston 6-3. The Americans finished their first season 28-10 overall and took a share of their league title.
