The Kingston girls gymnastics team is younger this winter than in years past, but they do have a seasoned veteran they can rely upon for leadership and encouragement.

Anna Quinn is Kingston’s team captain and a returning state participant. On the mats, Quinn competes in all four events and qualified for last year’s 1A/2A/3A state meet in the floor exercise, in which she scored a 7.375.

This year, Quinn hopes to qualify for at least two events – the floor exercise again and the balance beam. The gymnastics postseason begins on Feb. 6 with the subregional meet.
