As the lone returning starter on the Central Kitsap boys basketball team, Colby White has been tasked with the role of leading the next generation of Cougars through a transition season.
But mentorship is something White enjoys, and he has led by example both on and off the court this season. His on-court numbers through the first three games are nothing short of impressive. White has averaged 27 points per game in victories over North Mason, Olympic and Bremerton.
Most recently, White turned in a 26-point performance in a 71-59 win over Bremerton. He was 8-for-17 on his two-point field goal attempts and hit 10 of his 11 free throws.
