South Kitsap senior point guard Eli Mackie has been coming up big for his team all season long.
In the Wolves’ opening-night victory over Curtis, Mackie had 15 points, but none were bigger than his final two as he hit a layup with 25 seconds to go to secure the win.
Last week, in a playoff-clinching win against Graham-Kapowsin, Mackie overcame an early ankle injury to score 16 points, including seven in overtime, to help his team to a 68-61 triumph. Mackie came up big again on Senior Night against fourth-place Rogers as he scored the winning basket with two seconds left in overtime to lead the Wolves to a 64-62 win.
