Midori Carrier stepped up when her team needed her most in a recent match against Kingston.
With the two teams tied at 2, and the Buccaneers surging after scoring twice in six minutes, Carrier’s outstanding individual dribbling effort put her in perfect position to put her team ahead and she did so, scoring a terrific goal to give Olympic a 3-2 lead. Her speed coming off the wing proved to be too much for the defense and she found an angle to cut in towards the net before finishing the play with a goal.
Carrier then scored again two minutes later and completed her hat trick in the 64th minute off a free kick by her teammate Alyssa Smith. When the dust settled, Carrier had scored three times in the span of 11 minutes and gave the Trojans a 5-2 lead.
