Sadie Chipley was instrumental in helping the Olympic softball team reach the 2A state tournament. The senior first baseman went 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI in the clinching game against Lindbergh, but she saved her best performance for a rematch with a league rival.
In a 5-2 victory over North Kitsap to secure third place in the district tournament, Chipley hit two home runs and drove in all five runs.
Chipley is hitting .507 this season with six home runs and 20 RBI. She will play college softball at Western Oregon University in the fall.
