Feb. 16

Feb. 13

Sumner 50, Central Kitsap 39: On the road, the Cougars lost in second-round play. The Spartans took a 26-10 lead into the second half. Taylor Krouse led CK with 18 points.

Feb. 11

Central 57, Kelso 54: Four players scored in double figures in a thrilling win at home in first-round play. Starr Rodenhurst hit a 3-pointer and added two free throws in the final 44 seconds to help the Cougars seal the win. Rodenhurst finished the game with 12 markers. Maddie White was CK’s high scorer with 15, while Katie Thorsen hit 13 and Taylor Krouse added 11.

Feb. 13

Olympic 50, Franklin Pierce 43: Katie Campana scored in 19 and Olivia Williams chipped in 17 as the Trojans won in second-round action in Tacoma.

Feb. 11

Olympic 59, Washington 37: The Trojans used a 26-9 run in the second to take a first-round win over the Patriots at home. Olivia Williams led all scorers with 20 markers, while Danielle Monzon tossed in 16.

CLASS 1A WCD

Feb. 13

Seattle Christian 53, Klahowya 36: The Eagles were eliminated in the first round of the district tournament. Klahowya had a 14-13 lead at the end of the first period, but SC went on a 14-3 run in the second. Maya Lodner led the Eagles with nine points, while Izzy Severns added eight.

CLASS 2B TRI-DISTRICT

Feb. 17

Crosspoint 58, Cedar Park Christian 31: Desere’e Doty popped in a game-high 23 points as the Warriors sealed a berth in the Class 1B regional tournament. Kailey Bandara added 12 for the winners, who faced Neah Bay at Mount Vernon Christian on Feb. 19.

Feb. 12

Crosspoint 60, Evergreen Lutheran 57: The Warriors held on for a win and clinched the Class 1B Sea-Tac League tournament title in Tacoma. With the win, Crosspoint claims the No. 1 seed at next week’s Tri-District tournament. Caitlyn Cattell tossed in a game-high 21 points, while Desere’e Doty added 18 markers for Crosspoint

Feb. 14

Liberty 69, Bremerton 45: At Curtis, Liberty outscored the Knights, 26-7, in the final period in a loser-out game. Bremerton kept it close for three period, trailing by five, 43-38.

Olympic 72, Foster 41

Feb. 12

White River 42, at Olympic 41: In a thriller, the Trojans found themselves on the short end with a loss against the Hornets firs-round tournament action. Olympic was led by Makaleb McInnis who scored a game-high 17 points. Erik Turnquist added 13 for the Trojans.

Feb. 12

Washington 62, Bremerton 55: On the road, the Knights fell in first-round action against the Patriots. Casey Winderl led Bremerton with 13 points and Tavontay Carter chipped in 12.

Feb. 13

Charles Wright 72, Klahowya 43: The Eagles fell to the Terriers in a loser-out game. Ricky Holgum hit 12 to lead the Eagles at home.

 

CLASS 1B TRI-DISTRICT

Feb. 14

Tulalip Heritage 76, Crosspoint 64: The Warriors’ season ended in a loser-out game in the tournament.

Feb. 12

Evergreen Lutheran 66, Crosspoint 57: The Eagles outscored the Warriors, 23-7, for fifth-place seeding in Saturday’s Class 1B Tri-District tournament in Tacoma. Michael Shea led the Warriors (7-14) with 18 points, while Taylor Baxter hit 10.
