BELFAIR — Kingston’s Napua Fontes helped the Kingston Buccaneers subdue the North Mason Bulldogs in the Buccaneers’ return from winter break.
Fontes posted 11 points before the Bucs won 43-25, Jan. 7. Fontes earned seven rebounds, seven assists, and nine steals.
The win ties the Bucs with the Olympic Trojans and North Kitsap Vikings, all 4-2 in conference play.
The Vikings are second with overall wins (7-3), behind the Port Angeles Roughriders (8-2). The Roughriders lead the Olympic League undefeated (6-0).
The Bucs’ next conference game is Jan. 10 against the Vikings in the Kingston High School Gymnasium, at 8 p.m.
