KINGSTON — The Kingston Buccaneers’ girls basketball team won its 10th straight game over the Port Angeles Roughriders Jan. 14.
The Bucs won 44-38 in front of a home crowd.
Overall, the Bucs are 11-1 overall. Their one loss was Dec. 5 against Central Kitsap; they lost 60-42 in the non-conference matchup.
The Bucs lead the Olympic League. They are one game ahead of the Olympic Trojans (5-1).
The Sequim Wolves (3-3) and North Kitsap Vikings (3-3) trail in third.
So far this season, the Bucs have managed to upset almost all of their competition, including the 4A South Kitsap Wolves. The Wolves lost 66-54 to the Bucs Jan. 3.
Next: The Bucs travel to North Kitsap Jan. 16 to play a 7 p.m. rivalry game against the Vikings.
