Central Kitsap boys swimming
Head coach: Patrick McKenzie
2016-17 record: 1-5; 7th in SSC, 26th at the state meet.
Returning swimmers: Matyas Kisiday, junior; James Sanchez, sophomore; R.J. Thomasberg, junior; Cameron Stimac, senior; Logan Jacobson, senior; Damien Saldaña, senior.
Key Newcomers: James Scholfield, freshman; Alex Huang, sophomore; Noah Portis, sophomore.
Outlook: With 28 boys, this is the biggest team Central Kitsap has had in the last several season, which is exciting for the coaches as they will be able to fill all of the events and score more points at meets. Many of the swimmers are new, but Kisday, Sanchez and Thomasberg all swam at state last year and should return again. The addition of Schofield should also help Central Kitsap qualify a relay team for the state meet as well.
