North Kitsap blanks Klahowya
The North Kitsap High baseball team shut out Klahowya Friday, 8-0. North Kitsap pitcher Daniel Jewett threw 14 strikeouts and allowed just one hit in the win. The Vikings (17-0 overall) play at 4 p.m. today at Port Angeles High.
Kingston tops North Mason
The Kingston High baseball team defeated North Mason High Friday, 5-3. Down 3-2 in the top of the seventh inning, Kingston’s Curtis Wildung came to the plate with two outs and the bases loaded. Behind 0-2 in the count, Wildung blasted a single to drive in two runs. Stephen Gorman then drove in an insurance run. Matt Ramstead pitched the bottom of the seventh to save Josh Herrera’s win. The Buccaneers (10-4 overall) play at 4 p.m. today at Sequim High School.

North Kitsap ties Bainbridge
The North Kitsap High boys soccer team tied Bainbridge High Saturday, 1-1. It was the second tie in a row for the Vikings (11-0-2). Spencer Black scored for the Vikings in the 56th minute on an assist from Sergio Lopez. Bainbridge scored in the 60th minute on a North Kitsap own goal. North Kitsap hosts Port Angeles at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

North Kitsap falls to Klahowya
The North Kitsap High fastpitch team fell to Klahowya Secondary School Friday, 9-4. North Kitsap plays at 4 p.m. today at Port Angeles High.
LACROSSE
The North Kitsap boys lacrosse team defeated Mount Si Saturday, 7-3. Cameron Forcier led North Kitsap with two goals and seven ground balls. North Kitsap plays at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gig Harbor.
