Overview: Larsen has turned the offense over to 6-foot-3, 212-pound sophomore Sefo Liufau with strong results. Liufau has completed 51 of 87 passes for 788 yards and four touchdowns. But the Lions always have been a run-first team under Larsen. Lovejoy leads the team with 322 yards and two touchdowns on 76 carries. Rector, who has 362 yards and two touchdowns on 17 receptions, is Liufau’s favorite target. As versatile as the Lions are on offense — they rank third in 4A Narrows with an average of 26.4 points per game — defense has helped them remain undefeated. Bellarmine allows an average of just 8.2 points per game, which is best in the league. South has won 11 consecutive games against the Lions. Bellarmine’s last win was 14-10 in 1989.
