SEQUIM — Four North Kitsap High School golfers qualified for districts at the Olympic League Golf Tournament May 10, at the Cedars at Dungeness in Sequim.
The 2A District Golf Tournament is May 17 at Gold Mountain Golf Club.
Sophomore Kellen Fitz shot 88 to top all North Kitsap male golfers and place 10th overall.
Seniors Nolan Setterlund and Riley Snook shot 91 and 93, respectively, to qualify for districts. Missing the cut: Cooper Lindsey, junior, 98; and Christian Deardrof, junior, 99.
Junior golfer Abbey Holmberg shot 101 to top all North Kitsap female golfers and place 17th overall, qualifying for district.
Missing the cut: Arianna Doering, sophomore, 109; Hannah Sutton, sophomore, 109; Rebecca Bray, sophomore, 116.
Four Kingston golfers also advanced.
Senior Madison Gale shot 92 to top all other Kingston female golfers and finished eighth overall. Her score qualified her for the 2A state golf tournament.
Missing the cut: Cameron Friedel, sophomore, 111; Delaney Olson, freshman, 122; and Sorana Nance, senior, 119.
Sophomore Dawson Clark shot 91 to top all Kingston male golfers and finish tied for 12th. He earned a berth in the district tournament.
Also qualifying for district: Liam Young, junior, 92; and Austin Llunggren, senior, 93.
Missing the cut: Connor Friedel, junior, 101; Kainoa Saffery, junior, 105; and Brennan Jacobson, junior, 106.
