POULSBO — The game between the North Kitsap Vikings and Bremerton Knights varsity teams March 29 is going to finally decide a leader in the Olympic League.
The Vikings host the Knights at North Kitsap High School. The game begins at 4:15 p.m.
Both teams are 5-0 in league play. The game will decide who will take the lead in the league.
The Knights began their five-game streak defeating Port Angles 4-3. They went on to win 3-1 over North Mason, 5-1 over Olympic, and 5-4 over Port Townsend. They most recently defeated Sequim 7-1, March 27.
The Vikings began with a 3-0 win over North Mason, and continued with a 16-0 win over Port Townsend, 12-0 win over Sequim, 10-0 win over Kingston, and 7-2 victory over Klahowya on March 27.
The Klahowya Eagles (5-1) are second in the league.
North Mason, Sequim and Port Angeles are all tied for fourth with 2-3 records.
