Kasey Kahne took third in the Sprint Cup at Martinsville Speedway. Jimmie Johnson wins his seventh trophy in Martinsville race.

Johnson moved into the lead in the Sprint Cup Series over Brad Keselowski. Kahne is in the fourth with three races remaining in the series.

Kahne said to an ESPN reporter that, “We battled pretty hard all day. All the cars were good… we were right there.”
