TACOMA — The only two girls doubles teams at the district tournament from the North Kitsap School District must play each other for a shot at the title.

Kingston’s doubles teams Marilyn Fick/Charlotte Kilborn and Lindsey Wicklein/Erica Daniels will play each other Saturday in the semifinals of the West Central District III tournament. The losing team will play for third/fourth place.

Fick/Kilborn defeated Steilcoom’s Magaway/Pitts 6-4, 6-1 and Sumner’s Anderson/Babcock 7-5, 6-3 to make it to the semifinals.

Wicklein/Daniels defeated Sequim’s Smith/Prorok 6-2, 6-0 for a place in the semifinals after earning a top seed into the tournament.
