Kingston girls soccer team wins third game in a row

The team prepares to play its first Olympic League match Thursday against Olympic High School.

KINGSTON — The Kingston High School girls soccer team took its third win in a row against Port Angeles Tuesday night.

The team is now 3-1-1. The team’s first Olympic League game is Thursday at home against Olympic High School. Game starts at 6:45 p.m.

KHS against Port Angeles (Sept. 20):

Final: KHS 1, PA 0

Second quarter: 1, NK, Kristi Mellum in the 70th unassisted

KHS against Klahowya (Sept. 17):

Final: KHS 2, Klahowya 0

Second quarter: 1, NK, Kristi Mellum unassisted in the 57th; 2, NK, Jen Reitan unassisted in the 70th.

KHS against Port Townsend (Sept. 15):

Final: KHS 3, PT 1

First half: 1, NK, Rebecca Tafte (Keller), 25th; 2, PT, Megan Gambill (Lyons), 34th.

Second half: 3, NK, Keller unassisted, 45th; 4, NK, Tafte (Holt), 53rd.
