The Kingston High girls tennis team defeated Port Angeles High Friday, 4-3. Kingston has not lost a match this season.

North Kitsap girls shut out Port Townsend/Chimacum
The North Kitsap High girls tennis team shut out the combined Port Townsend and Chimacum high school teams on Friday, 7-0.

North Kitsap avoids upset from winless Klahowya
The North Kitsap High boys soccer team defeated Klahowya, 1-0, Friday with a goal in the final minute of the game. Patrick Mullen scored on a header in the 80th minute to keep the Vikings (10-0 overall) undefeated and the Eagles (0-11) winless. The Vikings host Port Townsend at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
BASEBALL
Kingston wins one, loses one
The Kingston High boys baseball team defeated Port Townsend Friday, 14-2. Matt Ramstead recorded the win for the Buccaneers. Catcher Curtis Wildung led the Buc offense, going 3-for-5 with five RBI. Teammate Danny Orr was 2-for-4 with a home run.
On Saturday, the Bucs lost to the Port Angeles High Roughriders, 5-3. Hayden McCartney got the win for the Roughriders. AJ Konopaski led Port Angeles, going 3-for-3 and scoring twice.
North Kitsap tops North Mason
The North Kitsap High baseball team defeated North Mason Friday, 6-3. The Vikings remain undefeated, at 15-0 overall. North Kitsap hosts district rival Kingston at 4 p.m. today.

Kingston downs Port Townsend
The Kingston High fastpitch team defeated Port Townsend High Friday, 11-1. Katie Lomas grabbed the win for the Buccaneers and went 2-for-3 with a double. Jordan Tapp was 3-for-4 with a triple, and Greta Coleman went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double. Kingston’s next game is at 4 p.m. today at North Kitsap.
North Kitsap falls to North Mason
The North Kitsap High fastpitch team fell to North Mason Friday, 18-0. The Vikings (4-8 overall) will host district rival Kingston High (5-5) at 4 p.m. today.
LACROSSE
North Kitsap boys fall to Lake Washington
The North Kitsap boys lacrosse team fell to Lake Washington Saturday, 14-1. Duncan Hack scored North Kitsap’s only goal. North Kitsap will host South Kitsap at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
North Kitsap girls forfeit to Bellevue East
The North Kitsap girls lacrosse team was forced to forfeit a game against Bellevue East on Friday. North Kitsap was unable to field a team due to player injuries. The girls are scheduled to play their next game Tuesday at Overlake. Game time is 6:15 p.m.
ATHLETIC MEDICINE
North Kitsap team places 7th at state competition
Students from the North Kitsap High School Athletic Medicine program competed at the Washington State Sports Medicine Competition at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound over the weekend. The team placed seventh out of 44 schools. The competition included three written exams and one oral exam. Students also attended leadership activities and health-related seminars between competitions.
