FEDERAL WAY — Kathleen Andersen brought home two titles for Kingston High School Nov. 16 during the 2A Girls State Swim & Dive Championships.

Andersen, a junior, took fifth in the 100-Yard Breaststroke and sixth in the 200-Yard Individual Medley.

Andersen finished the Breaststroke in 1 minute 11.43 seconds. She was about one second behind Pullman’s Courtney Larsen. Andersen finish one second ahead of North Kitsap’s Ellie Gallagher.

Andersen also placed sixth during the 200-Yard IM with a time of 2:19.69.

Andersen was the only swimmer from Kingston to advance to the finals this season.
