SILVERDALE — Austin Keller netted seven goals as Klahowya evened its boys high school lacrosse record with a 19–3 win over North Kitsap, April 26 at Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale.
Klahowya (4-4-0) next faces Curtis (5-2-0), May 2 in a 7 p.m. start at Curtis High School in University Place. North Kitsap (1-6-0) next faces Vashon Island (4-3-0), April 29 in a 6 p.m. start at Vashon Island High School.
Klahowya goaltender Kyle Bergmann kept his team in position for the win with seven saves.
Sophomore midfielder Kellson Arthurs led North Kitsap’s offense with two goals and 12 ground balls. Sophomore attackman Matt Dotterweich scored one goal. Junior goalie Nickolas Brown had 10 saves; he’s ninth in the 62-team league in saves (56) and 16th in the league in save percentage (.318). Arthurs is sixth in the league in ground balls (50) and 17th in the league in goals (17).
