Two summer lacrosse camps will be offered through the North Kitsap Lacrosse team beginning next week.

The camps are open to anyone and run June 20-24. The camps are for both boys and girls entering grades three through 12. The deadline for registration is June 20. Cost is $75. Equipment is available for refundable deposits — $30 for a stick and $50 for goggles.

All players must provide their own mouth guards and cleats.

The camps cover the skills of lacrosse — catching, throwing, cradling and checking — along with rules and general play. Team competitions will be held. Drills and individual skill work will also be available.

Summer lacrosse league

A summer lacrosse league is open to all women grades nine an above.

Games will be played Wednesday nights, June 22-Aug.10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Strawberry Field on the corner of Noll Road and Hostmark Street in Poulsbo.

Deadline for registration is June 22. League fee is $59.

All players must provide their own equipment. Games are officiated.

Registration is through Poulsbo Parks and Recreation, located at the North Kitsap Community Center, 19540 Front St., Poulsbo.
