VASHON — North Kitsap was no match for the Vashon Vultures April 29.
The Vultures defeated North Kitsap 16-3 during the evening varsity game.
“North Kitsap brought a ton of energy to the game, and hustled from start to finish,” according to the game notes from NK. “Vashon’s offense was just too much for North Kitsap’s defense to contain, and the Vultures were able to build a lead early in the game.”
The loss keeps NK (1-8-0) in second to last in the SPSL/Olympic league. South Kitsap (0-7-0) is last.
The win keeps the Vultures (4-3-0) in first, tied with Klahowya.
NK is up against Port Angeles (1-6-0) May 1 at Agnew Field.
