NK girls and boys basketball players, coaches honored

North Kitsap’s boys and girls basketball teams were honored by the Olympic League for their 2016 play.

POULSBO — North Kitsap’s boys and girls basketball teams were honored by the Olympic League for their 2016 play.

Of the girls, Molly Lemmon and Olivia Selembo were named to the league’s first team. Raelee Moore was named second team. The 2A Girls Olympic League Coach of the Year honor went to Coach Penny Gienger.

Of the Viking boys, Cole Rabedeaux was named Most Valuable Player; Joshua Benson and Zac Olmsted were named to the second team.

The 2A Boys Olympic League Coach of the Year honor want to Coach Scott Orness.
