NK track and field wins three in a row

The North Kitsap Vikings boys and girls teams are on a hot streak. Both track and field teams have won the last three meets.

POULSBO — The North Kitsap Vikings boys and girls teams are on a hot streak.

Both track and field teams have won the last three meets.

North Kitsap began by outscoring the Bremerton Knights and Sequim Wolves April 11. North Kitsap had the top finisher for all but five of the boys’ events, and all but six of the girls’ events.

The teams went on to win the Lil’ Norway Invite April 13 and then the April 16 Olympic League meet against the Kingston Buccaneers and Port Townsend. The Vikings will participate in the Terrace Invite April 20, at Edmonds Stadium. The team departs at 8 a.m.

The Vikings’ teams then travel to North Mason April 24 to compete against North Mason and Port Angeles.

The Buccaneers will participate in the Bellevue High School Invite April 20. The first event is 10 a.m.

The Bucs travel to Bremerton High School April 25 to compete against Bremerton and Olympic.
