The North Kitsap wrestling team prevailed over Bainbridge 64-11, winning six of the eight matches Jan. 17.

The Vikings earned 36 points through forfeits at 106, 113, 120, 126 and 215 pounds.

Bainbridge earned a medical forfeit at 157 pounds, giving Spartan Wyatt Chabot a victory over Luan Bekteshi. Garrett Goade was the only other Spartan to capture a victory, defeating Morgan Paul by an 18-3 technical fall at 175 pounds.

For NK, Wyatt Trogden pinned Spartan Retto Peato in the second period at 132 pounds, Jaxon Johnson pinned Omid Neghabat in the first period at 144 pounds and Jesus Mares pinned Orlando Santos-Gonzales in the second period at 285 pounds.

Viking Dayton Heymann defeated Baha Ali 7-2 at 138 pounds, Wyatt Sloman defeated Spartan Tyler Dodge 6-1 at 150 pounds, and NK’s Taylor Delmundo defeated Andrea Berteletti 18-5 at 165 pounds.
