DES MOINES — North Kitsap freshman Chloe Seferos finished the West Central District III tournament with the top score Feb. 9.
Seferos received an all-around score of 34.275 during the tournament.
Seferos and eight other gymnasts from the North Kitsap School District will travel to the Tacoma Dome to compete in the State championships Feb. 15. Championships continue Feb. 16.
Kingston sends three of its gymnasts to State, including Megan Keller, who qualified for State in all events. Also competing is Lizzy Garcia and Megan Kelly.
North Kitsap sends six.
North Kitsap senior D’Anne Davidson qualified for three events at the District championships. Her scores included a first place finish on floor (9.050), outscoring Lindbergh’s Markia Williams (9.000).
Joining Davidson are Carah Brown, Jessica Dimof, Alison Pariera, Sarah Zimmerman and Seferos.
Team’s that qualified to State are Enumclaw (179.425), Decatur (168.650) and Highline (158.300). North Kitsap (157.85) finished fourth at Districts. North Kitsap finished .45 points behind Highline.
