PORT ANGELES — As a freshman in 2009, Reagan Colyer was able to place 18th at the Salt Creek Invite. In 2010, she finished eighth. Last season, Colyer took third.
On Sept. 15 during the 2012 Salt Creek Invite, Colyer was able to bring home the title.
Colyer finished the 3-mile invite in 18 minutes 8.41 seconds, about 14 seconds ahead of Antoinette Tansley (18.22.09) to take the Salt Creek title.
North Kitsap’s Kathleen Ramsey finished third (18:25.79).
The girls varsity team took first overall. The team finished the meet with a combined time of 1:35:30. The team had an average race time of 19:06.
The North Kitsap boys team finished 10th. Ian Christen was the top finisher for the team in 17th (15:54.48).
The Kingston High School girls team finished fourth. Annie Roberts was the top runner for the team finishing sixth (18:43.93).
The Kingston boys team finished sixth. The top runner was Devon Jacob in 15th (15:49.96).
