The Olympic Trojans beat their second ranked baseball opponent in a week Tuesday. topping Mt. Rainier 5-1 at Kent Memorial Field.

It was a revenue win of sorts for Oly, who got dropped in the first round last year by Mt. Rainier.

Starter Riley Crow improved to 8-0 this season, boosting Oly to 18-3.

The win means the Trojans will battle Saturday at 10 a.m. against Auburn. A win there pits the Trojans against the winner of Hazen and Capital for the district crown. That game takes place at 7 p.m. Saturday. If the Trojans fall, they’ll battle the loser of Hazen-Capital at 4 p.m.

All three of the games take place at Russel Road Park in Kent.
