The Olympic High School girls bowling team steamrolled to another victory, sweeping Bremerton High School 7-0 at All-Star Lanes & Casino on Thursday.
Senior Liza Ambrose rolled a 224 and Kendra Willis and Emily Sutton added 204 and 203, respectively, to give the undefeated Lady Trojans a high series of 999 in the first regular game. Audrey Deutsch rolled a single-game high 227 in the second regular game.
Olympic took both the Baker Games, ending with a final pin-fall advantage of 2,310 to 2,127.
“Olympic bowlers were on fire tonight,” co-coach Katie Fauna said. “We are very proud.”
Olympic visits Peninsula High School at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The Klahowya Secondary School girls bowling team, meanwhile, defeated North Mason High School 7-0.
Lady Eagles senior Carys Bailey rolled a combined 340 over the two regular games, and teammates Courtney Snellenberg and Shannon Frey added 337 and 305, respectively, to help Klahowya to a total pin-fall advantage of 1,889 to 1,487. Klahowya swept the Baker Games.
The team visits Sequim High School at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
