Olympic Girls Tennis
Head coach: Jeff Trainer
2018 record: 10-6 (7-6)
Key players: Marissa Nemeth, sr.; Sydney Troy, sr.; Emry Bohlman, sr.; Karli Taylor, sr.; DJ Cherrey, sr.; Kaylani Riley, jr. Ryleigh Barret, so.; Alexis Valenzuela, so.
Outlook: With four-time Olympic League (and state) champion singles player Danya Wallis finally graduated, the league title is wide-open this year and Nemeth is a top contender if she is able to overcome an injury and play this season. Nemeth also placed sixth in last year’s 2A state tournament. Troy has been to state twice as a doubles player, but her partner, Brooklyn Haro, graduated last year. She will team up with Bohlman, who missed last season with an injury, and another deep playoff run is expected out of that duo.
