Overall, more than 1,000 runners of all ages participated this summer. Participants are grouped by gender and age, ranging from 3-and-younger through 12-and-older, high schoolers and adults. Each meet started with the Joggers Mile for all ages, with participants predicting their own times. That event is followed by the 40-, 75-, 125- and 400-meter runs, 40-meter hurdles and the 4 by 100-meter relay.
The races are managed by former cross-country coach Paul Benton and coordinated by Kiwanian Chris Miller. Timing races and reporting results were handled the Bainbridge High School cross-country team and the Kiwanis-sponsored Key Club. The event is free for participants thanks to many BI businesses that are sponsors, who also provided fudge and ice cream certificates to participants.
