Klahowya Secondary School and Olympic, Central Kitsap and Bremerton high schools kicked off the 2010 football season Friday.

Fife 28,Olympic 20
Senior transfer Willie Kudera completed 21 of 33 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns in his Olympic debut, but the Trojans blew an eight-point halftime lead before losing on the road to Fife High School, 28-20.
Olympic held a 14-6 lead at halftime thanks to Kudera touchdown tosses of 16 and 23 yards in the second quarter. Fife, however, scored 21 consecutive points in the second half to go up 28-14, holding on for the win.
The Trojans (0-1) managed just 66 yards rushing, with Nathan Bezotte carrying the ball 12 times for 62 yards. Sam Geleski caught seven passes for 70 yards to leading the receiving corps.
Trey Fullilove and Adam Rodriguez tallied six tackles apiece, anchoring an Olympic defense that also forced two turnovers and registered three sacks.
Central Kitsap 13, Eastlake 10
Running back Devon Lewis scored a pair of first-half touchdown to lead Central Kitsap to a 13-10 victory in its season opener Friday at Eastlake High School.
Central Kitsap held a 13-3 lead at halftime. Eastlake, which plays in the Class 4A KingCo Conference, cut the lead to 13-10 with a third-quarter touchdown.
The Cougars (1-0) face rival Olympic in the Battle of Bucklin Hill at 7 p.m. Friday at Silverdale Stadium.
Foster 20, Bremerton 18
Bremerton High School running back Kyle Kennedy rushed for 212 yards, but the Knights dropped their season opener to Foster High School on the road Friday, 20-18.
Kennedy scored two touchdowns and Sabian Perrigo added another, but Bremerton was 0 for 3 in converting extra points.
The Knights (0-1) host Decatur High School in a non-league contest at 7 p.m. Friday at Bremerton Memorial Stadium.
Steilacoom 60, Klahowya 0
Steilacoom High School scored 21 points in the first quarter on its way to a 60-0 drubbing of Klahowya Secondary School at home Friday.
The Eagles of Klahowya, who were winless in 2009, trailed 21-0 after the first quarter, 34-0 at halftime and 54-0 through three quarters. Klahowya (0-1) has been shut out five times in 11 games under second-year coach Lyle Prouse.
The squad faces Chimacum High School at 7 p.m. Thursday at Jefferson Memorial Stadium in Port Townsend.
